Interview: Club Natació Barcelona this summer

This club is on the Mediterranean shore and from it you can see the ocean and swim in its saltwater pool, is known by all the inhabitants of the town and catch the attention of all those who walk on the promenade a summer day. Where is and what facilities you can find in the Barcelona Swimming Club (Club Natació Barcelona)?

Barcelona Swimming Club (Club Natació Barcelona) is a historic, century-old reference facility in Barcelona, with a privileged location facing the sea and the beach. We have 24.000m2 of facilities to enjoy sport and entertainment 365 days a year. We have swimming pools (50m, saltwater, outdoor summer pool, 25m pool and babies pool), fitness facilities, 140 weekly guided sessions, paddle, squash and racketball, 5 pediments, tennis artificial grass courts, beach courts, private beach area, restaurant, massage service, beauty and hair salon, playground, games room and parking.

What activities or sports can be performed in summer on the premises of CNB?

Both at summer and during the rest of the year, thanks to the warm weather of the city, you can enjoy swimming in the only saltwater pool in Barcelona. At our facilities you swim in the sea (open water), sailing, windsurfing, beach volleyball, beach soccer, paddle, tennis, racketball and soccer 5.

In addition, the Club offers a wide variety of guided lessons from 7am to 10pm in our huge gym with excellent equipment.

What are the rates for members and for visitors?

Members enjoy all the facilities in a unique setting for an unlimited time or whatever the day of the week it is, for only 97’91€ per month. If members are under 26 years they only pay 67’67€.

The visitors can buy a member invitation for 10€ after 2pm and for 20€ before 2pm. This is the ideal place to enjoy a full day of wonderful facilities and also have a meal at our restaurant, Vista Mare.

Your seaside location is excellent, do you offer activities or courses that are conducted on the beach or in the seawater?

Being a member of our Club is a real pleasure. You can enjoy all the possibilities offered in the area and our facilities located in front of the Mediterranean sea and that is wonderful. We are in a unique location to live summer or winter experiences, by day or at night.

To this end, we offer swimming lessons in open water (at sea), windsurfing lessons, sailing, junior sailing, optimist boat sailing, junior and senior triathlon, swimming lessons and water aerobics in an indoor pool and, of course, the exclusive private beach perfect for relaxing or sunbathing with confidence.

Any plans for the future that you can tell us?

From now on, in addition to providing all of our facilities to the local inhabitants, we open our doors to all those who live and enjoy our wonderful city during a season.
