Getting around

How to Get to Camp Nou

How to Get to Camp Nou
Written by Olivia

GOOOOOOOOOOL! Those who live in the Les Corts area, game days are absolutely rowdy. Fans crawling in from all over, decked out in gear from head to toe, chanting down the streets. For those who are visiting Barcelona for the first time and are absolutely desperate to see a football match, Camp Nou is the haven for not only.

camp nouFor those who are visiting Barcelona for the first time and are absolutely desperate to see a football match, Camp Nou is the haven for not only matches but all things FCB (Futbol Club Barcelona).

There are three ways to get to the stadium with public transportation: metro, tram, and bus. And if you are fortunate to have the car option, there is information on where to park.

📌 Do you want to enter the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell without queuing? You can do so by buying the Barcelona City Pass, an exclusive pass recommended by ShBarcelona, with which you can discover countless magical places in the city. Also, you have a 20% discount to book tickets at the main tourist attractions in the city. What are you waiting for?

Metro

There are 5 stops in total that surround the beloved stadium. You can take the blue line, or L5, and stop at either Badal or Collblanc. You can also take the green line, or L3, and stop at either Les Corts, Maria Cristina, or Palau Reial, and head down the hill following the crowds, noise, and commotion

Tram

The following stops are accessible by T1, T2, and T3: Maria Cristina, Pius XII, Palau Reial, Zona Universitaria, Avinguda de Xile and Sant Ramon. The nice thing about getting to the stadium from the tram is it is a downhill walk!

Bus

My personal favorite method of transportation is by bus because they are usually much more tranquil, spacious, and more comfortable than the metro, especially on game days. The following numbers will grant you close access to the stadium with minimal walking including: 7-15-33-43-56-63-67-68-70-72-74-75-78-113-153-157-158-167.

By Car

ACCESS_PROCEDURE_SUPPORTERS_21.v1350486489There is parking at Camp Nou, but on game day parking spots are reserved for club members. The parking near the stadium is best accessible from Parking on Carrer Joan d’Alós, or you can try parking at the Hotel Reina Sofia, however it is 10 euros.

I suggest parking near the Zona Universitaria or Maria Cristina metro stops above Avinguida Diagonal. Not only can you sometimes find free parking and always find cheaper parking, you can eliminate waiting in the hideous traffic that follows any sporting event.

You can find much more information on the FCB Official Website.
