Did you know that Barcelona has its own Oktoberfest? Every year at the Plaza Universo, the people of Barcelona throw on their lederhosen and throw down with liters of fantastic German beer. It’s as close to the real thing as it gets in Spain, and it is a truly great experience.
Food
Right next to the Universitat de Barcelona you will find Alt Heidelberg. This place not only offers traditional, and as usual perfect, German beers, but also all the main German classics: from Spätzle to Bratwurst, it has it. The owner is German himself and provides a great company should you want a chat in German or to know more about the food and products on offer.
Language
If you want to feel German anywhere in the world, it is important to speak the language. Language and culture are, after all, closely interlinked.
