We like to give you some tips to make the most of your stay in Barcelona and to know the city as you are a local inhabitant of it. To do so, it’s important to know the neighborhoods in the city, the monuments and the gastronomy but is also crucial to know about the art you can find in museums. From ShBarcelona we suggest some of the best exhibitions currently in museums and cultural centers of Barcelona:

The greatest artists in the history of Spanish painting and sculpture shouldn’t be missed.

The result are images of shadows and lights of cars that go through the cities.

At the exhibition you can also see your own underwater photo if you shared it in the prior call of the museum to the people.

human bodiesHuman Bodies (Arenas Mall until April the 12nd, 2015): this exhibition has toured the world and has not been without controversy. Here you can see real human bodies outside and inside as they have been treated in a special way for the visitors to expand their knowledge of their own body.

Do you want to see the city through the local inhabitants eyes?

On the Table de Ai Weiwei (Virreina Image Center until January the 6th, 2015): Weiwei is the most famous and influential dissident Chinese artist in the world and in the Virreina Palace (at the right side of La Rambla) you can visit his works throughout his long career in various disciplines: photography, documentary film, sculpture, design, architecture. There are also some amazing art installations designed by the artist especially for this exhibition.
