Without further ado, here’s the recipe:
For 8 people:
1 cinnamon stick
125 g butter
1/2 l milk
butter and flour for the mold
75 g Sugar
We spread the butter within the mold and sprinkle flour (so we make sure it doesn’t get stuck). Boil the milk, with the cinnamon stick and the sugar. When it’s boiling take it off of the heat and let it cool off. Remove the cinnamon stick from the cold milk. Peel, cut and take off the center of the apple.
Put the melted butter in a pan, add the apples, brown them and put them on the mold so they are flatten enough on it. Add the eggs with the yolk in a bowl, beat them. Pour the milk with a strain and add the sugar and the cinnamon as well while you mix everything up. Pour the mixture over the apples and stir it well so that the apples and liquid become a mix.
We put the mold with the mix inside in a pot with water and we put them into the heat so the pudding will be cook this way. Watch out it doesn’t run out of water until it is cooked. We can see this by putting up a stick and if it comes out clean is already cooked.
Pre-heat the oven and insert the pudding at 175 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool it off and unmold it to serve it.
Enjoy your meal!
