Barcelona Tattoo Expo

From the 2nd to the 4th of October, Fira de Barcelona will host the annual Barcelona Tattoo Expo.

There will be more than 100 tattoo artists present at the expo, from countries like France, Italy, U.S.A., Australia, Portugal, Ireland, Tahiti, Germany, Holland, Russia, Argentina, Switzerland, Poland, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Samoa, China and United Kingdom.

Spain will be represented at the event by Billy from Nirvana Tattoo, Carlos Fabra from CosaFina Tattoo, Carlos Free from L’Embruix, David Di Bro from MagnaMara Tattoo, Sergio Salas from Grial Tattoo, Stefano Phen from Malandragen & Saudade, Tamy Love from Saints and Sinners, and many more.

tattoo barcelonaIf you would like to get a tattoo by any of the artists that will be present at the event, contact them beforehand so you can explain your tattoo idea in detail, with enough time.

For those looking to purchase some equipment, the expo will have exhibits by a series of suppliers like Mao & Coko Tattoo Irons, Wildcat, Family Art Tattoo and Black Steel Body Art Supplies.

Guests will be amazed by Arte Sobre Ruedas, a car show with a collection of customized cars from the U.S. and Europe.

But the art on wheels doesn’t end there! There will also be a bike show with two categories: Best of Show and Best Paint.

Barcelona Art & Urban Movement (BAUM) will provide entertainment with a Breaking BBoy Battle & All Styles, the European In Line Vert Championship, Breakdance, Tip Rocking, Locking and Hip Hop, Best Trick competitions and a series of free workshops and contests.

Tickets for Barcelona Tattoo Expo cost 14€ for Friday, 19€ for Saturday, 17€ for Sunday, 29€ for 2 days, and 39€ for the full 3 days. These prices are valid for tickets bought ahead of time, on the official website.

Barcelona Tattoo Expo willtattoo barcelona take place at Pabellón 2 at Fira de Barcelona, the city’s trade fair institution and one of the most important fairs in Europe.

To get there to Fira de Barcelona, you can use buses number D20, H12, V7, 9, 13, 27, 37, 50, 65, 79, 91, 109, 150 and 165. You can also use the subway, taking the red (L1) or green (L3) line, exiting at Espanya.

If you come by car you can park at BSM from 2 to 6 hours for 6.15€. You can also park at Las Arenas shopping center for up to 6 hours for 5,12€.
