Untitled BCN is an art gallery which aims to provide exposure for artists at the early stages in their career. It works hand in hand with various universities worldwide, offering up group visits, with an introduction to the city, as well as to the different local art forms. They showcase all manner of projects, from the conventional to the just plain weird. It’s a very open-minded space, ran by a very open-minded team.

PLOM art gallery

PLOM art gallery focuses solely on the work of minors. It is their aim to showcase and promote the talent of young artists; to give them a stage within the adult world of art. There’s no shortage of talented young artists in Barcelona, and PLOM have created the perfect place to see them. They have many colourful paintings on show, and surprisingly thought-provoking pieces as well.

Galeria Safia

Galeria Safia is an all round art gallery. It focuses on mainly contemporary art, but in all it’s forms. They have many works on display, ranging from paintings and sketches, through to sculptures and photography. Here they aim to encourage collaboration between emerging artists and more established ones.

Andreu Marcs

Located on Carrer d’Astúries, Andreu Marcs is a somewhat different art gallery. It features a whole array of colourful paintings and drawings, each with very powerful and vivid imagery. As soon as you walk into the place you are bombarded with powerful, stirring creations, such as his selection of charcoal nudes, amongst other oil paintings and pencil sketches. It is well worth a visit if you want a glimpse into the workings of this innovative artist.
