Aquesta manera de menjar busca el m\u00e0xim aprofitament dels nutrients, i alhora la no ingesti\u00f3 de toxines. Va m\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.cat\/blog\/cat\/els-millors-vegetarians-de-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>cuina vegetariana<\/strong><\/a>, perqu\u00e8 defensa no tan sols que cal menjar nom\u00e9s <strong>aliments vegetals<\/strong>, sin\u00f3 que aquests han d&#8217;estar crus, o com a m\u00e0xim, manipulats al que seria una temperatura ambiental normal. Aix\u00ed s&#8217;accepta, per exemple, deshidratar productes a temperatures inferiors a 43\u00b0 cent\u00edgrads, ja que per sobre d&#8217;aquesta fita els aliments es desnaturalitzen, perdent tota o part de la seva capacitat nutricional, especialment els seus enzims i vitamines. Altres processos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shbarcelona.cat\/blog\/cat\/horticultura-a-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>naturals<\/strong><\/a> que es propugnen s\u00f3n la fermentaci\u00f3, el germinat de llavors, el batut, el liquat i el marinat. S&#8217;usen profusament els anomenats <strong>super-aliments<\/strong>, productes d&#8217;alta capacitat energ\u00e8tica i amb grans propietats salut\u00edferes. Alhora, s&#8217;opta per prescindir no nom\u00e9s de subst\u00e0ncies d&#8217;origen animal, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 de qualsevol producte que pugui resultar t\u00f2xic, per exemple, el caf\u00e8, o els additius qu\u00edmics com la sacarina o el clor de l&#8217;aigua. Tots els cereals es prefereixen integrals.
