The neighbourhood of Horta is a residential area, it is well connected and has several commercial areas. It is one of the most popular neighbourhoods of the Ciudad Condal, and its main square, Plaza Ibiza, is known for its traditional tapas bars.

In the central part of the neighbourhood, at Plaza Ibiza and its surroundings, there are pedestrian streets, and the buildings are not too high, some of them being single-family, terraced houses. Its rural atmosphere, the local shops and a low population density, make it picturesque and more intimate.

You can find many single-family buildings in the area, either lower houses or houses with two floors, and they have large patios and gardens at the back. Multi-family buildings, the majority of them with few neighbours, are mostly ground floor homes, with a terrace or garden with the charm of town houses.

You can also find some apartment buildings with gardens, mainly from around the turn of the century. But it is also possible to find medium-sized apartments with few neighbours, some with a communal area.

The neighbourhood is very quiet, it is connected by bus and metro lines, and it is near the Ronda de Dalt, one of the exits and entrance points to the city of Barcelona. If you like quiet neighbourhoods, with services and shops and good transport options, the neighbourhood of Horta is an ideal place.

Prices are not exorbitantly high, although if you choose a single-family house or an apartment with garden, this will increase rental prices considerably.
